Domain Names Project Specialist Job Responsibilites – Burbank, Ca

This role will focus on overall project management and request fulfillment for the many different workstreams the team handles on a day-to-day basis. Request fulfillment includes everything from working with customers on full product cycle requests (requirements gathering, project planning, confirming milestones, and communication with the customer) to updating status on daily request flow.

Project management includes everything from simple domain name registrations to complex DNS redelegations that require coordination with multilple teams. There will be extensive cross-training with other team members to occasionally provide out of office coverage.

  • Provide support for Domain Name Management activities across all of our brands; including ABC, ESPN, Marvel, Pixar, Lucasfilm and newly acquired properties
  • Keep project status and reporting activities up to date
  • Assist with research projects related to new products and advertising campaigns
  • Attend meetings with stakeholders across many different business segments, take thorough notes, and report results
  • Participate in discussion regarding domain name management strategy
  • Review domain name monitoring data, and provide suggestions for followup
  • Provide assistance to domain name points of contact in other business segments regarding fulfilling requests, access to vendor tools, etc.
  • Work with our International business segments, including EMEA and APAC
  • Help identify when it is necessary to refer incidents to our Legal and/or Information Security teams, and follow up on needed actions
