There is an alternative to Afternic for domain name sellers. Domain sellers are realizing that saving 11% per sale at Dan.com is starting to make sense. Now Dan.com isn’t new, the name is, but it’s formally known as Undeveloped.com. In fact, starting in February, 2020, we will be moving most if not all of our domain names to Dan.com. As we noted above, if you are selling a few domains a month, a 11% savings goes a long way.
Actually, what we really like is that the Dan.com domain name uploading experience is easier to use. In fact, it has easy to use management areas that are labeled Dashboard, Portfolio, Sales Activity, and Administration.
Now, when it comes to parking our domain name to sell, the landing page is crucial. Don’t worry, Dan.com has this covered. They have professional designs along with customized options. Additionally, along with multiple buying options, there are multiple payment options for your potential buyer. More importantly, Dan.com eliminated potential Bots from contacting you as they use a Captcha. To be fair, we have not had many Bots contact us, but not we know there won’t be any at all going forward.
Lastly, we love how you can integrate your Google analytics. We have this set up with our Efty account and it’s a nice feature to see who is visiting our pages and how they are coming in.
To conclude, we will write up a review once we have more data and experience with Dan.com. However, we are excited for the future and what they have to offer. An alternative to Afternic has been on our minds for quite sometime, and we are excited about this venture.
