In fact, there are even worse domains that were registered. Those include Imanokboomer.com and OKboomertv.com. The phrase “OK Boomer” is indeed a catchy one, but why waste your money on registering a domain with a play on words with this phrase or a crap domain extension?
Quite simply, it makes zero sense to waste the $7 or $12 to register those domains that won’t make a profit. This is a case of people hearing that the OKBoomer.com website that closed at an auction for over $10,000 and wanted to capitalize on that phrase. However, 99.99% of those domains that were registered are epic fails. For example, who in there right mind would want to buy or think they could make money on okboomer.run?
So why were there so many OKBoomer domain registrations? Quite simply, too many were thinking of a get rich scheme. In fact, this also happened with the phrase Covfefe. While there will be some good domains that add words or phrases with a catchy saying, they are still limited. For the simple fact, the keyphrase is the one that will make the most money, you can still be creative and register a good domain name. With this in mind, please don’t waste your money on a badly worded domain names.
